Posted October 13, 2018 04:53:49Microsoft has acquired the Fire office building in Denver, Colorado, for $5.1 billion.
The acquisition will bring the company’s total value to $8.5 billion, Microsoft said in a statement.
Microsoft is also buying the building’s surrounding properties for $1.8 billion, according to a statement from the company.
The move comes after Microsoft acquired the office building at 4201 N. Colorado Blvd.
in Denver in April, and in August of 2018 it purchased the Denver Convention Center for $3.6 billion.
It also purchased the city’s airport in January 2019 for $2.4 billion.
