Posted October 07, 2018 14:17:55 The Raiders are not a team that has been in a permanent stadium since the 1980s.
It’s been an open question for many years.
There have been talks about a temporary stadium for the franchise since the early 2000s.
But there have also been calls to move the team from Alameda County to Las Vegas, with some reports saying it could happen as early as 2019.
The Raiders will make their first game at the new facility in 2021.
A new stadium could come with some logistical hurdles though.
According to The Nevada Post, the team is still waiting for the county to approve the plan.
That includes a final environmental impact report and final approval from the county.
“The county is still negotiating with the Raiders on the location, and that’s why the Raiders will not be moving into the new stadium until they receive that,” the paper wrote.
The Raiders have been in Oakland for more than 60 years, but have never had a permanent home.
But the Raiders would likely have to move back to Las Angeles if they want to play in a new stadium.
With the Raiders playing in the NFL’s biggest stadium in L.A. for the first time in 20 years, the possibility of moving to the new venue has increased in recent years.
There has been talk of the team moving from Las Vegas to San Francisco in the near future.
