Manfredo Senni has vowed to “protect” the Serie A crown in 2018 and said his club would be back in the title contention in the same vein they were in 2016.
The Italian coach told reporters at his office in the capital Rome: “I hope we will have another strong season in the top flight and the Europa League.”
Senni was speaking after Juventus defeated Torino 2-1 on Tuesday evening to move within one point of third-placed Lazio in Serie A.
The Bianconeri, who will travel to the Turin for the final four matches of the season on Saturday, were relegated to the third tier on Sunday.
Sennic told Sky Sport Italia: “We want to defend the title and we need to win every game.
It is clear that we need the support of all fans to do that.”
Lazio had their hopes of a fourth consecutive title after being beaten by Napoli in a 2-0 home defeat.
The Biancocelesti will return to Serie A on Friday in the third leg of the Champions League final.
Lazia are currently fourth in the league and are currently in fourth place with five games to play.
Sennis side were promoted in December and won their first four games of the campaign.
